Triggering Integrations from Alarms
Wire an alarm rule directly to a Slack, Telegram, or HTTP integration
Alarm rules can call an integration directly as an action, so a specific alarm can notify a specific channel.
For example: a CRITICAL temperature alarm on your cold-storage application can post to a dedicated #cold-chain-alerts Slack channel, while informational alarms only create in-app notifications.
How to Wire It
- Create or edit an alarm rule.
- Under Actions, add an Integration action.
- Select the integration to call when the alarm fires.
ENGINEER Engineers can only select integrations within their assigned applications.
