How far back your historical telemetry is available
Your subscription plan defines how far back your historical telemetry is available - the retention window (in days).
What This Means for You
- Live data and recent history are always available.
- Historical queries, dashboard time windows, and exports are limited to your plan's retention window.
- Time-window pickers show a "Max - your plan" option that maps to your window, so you can't accidentally request data older than your plan allows.
If you need a longer history window, contact your administrator about your plan. Administrators set the retention window on the tenant's subscription profile - see Tenant Profiles.
